Property Disclosure.  The Property Condition Disclosure requirement in New York State is important for buyers and for sellers. Essentially, this requires most home sellers to complete a form that outlines the condition of the property. For an explanation of this new requirement, click to read the statement provided by the  NYS Association of Realtors.

I'm proud to tell you that I have been designated in the top 100 RE/MAX agents in New York State in terms of total commissions earned. I was named to the RE/MAX International Hall Of Fame in 2001 -- one of 15 agents in New York State to be so honored that year.

A supporter of the Children's Miracle Network!  I am a supporter of the Children's Miracle Network and send a donation to CMN from every successful real estate transaction.

RE/MAX has taken up the cause to prevent early death due to breast cancer. Monthly self-checks and annual mammograms are critical to early detection of breast cancer. Death rates from the disease are decreasing among most groups, and the number of survivors is growing due to discovery of cancer in its early stages, when it is most treatable. To sign up to receive RE/MAX e-mail reminders of monthly and annual screenings, click on the image.

Home Buyer's, Home Owner'sTool Box. If you want to try out the home buyer tools -- "School Report" or "Move Tools" -- you can check them out on another website I maintain on the links below. These are very powerful tools that you might find helpful in searching for a new home or even in checking out a new community in the event you are considering relocating to a new area. The site on which these tools are located sometimes can be rather slow to load, but I think you may find these tools useful.

Whether you're buying a home, selling your home, or relocating, use these interactive tools to stay organized, make the right decisions and make the most of your own money. If you are relocating, ask me about a referral to practically any locale in the world!

The Moving Coach -- A RE/MAX approved vendor, the Moving Coach is a free service offered by RE/MAX which will guide you through the process of selecting and using a moving company.

School Reports -- When relocating to another city or state, you have important decisions to make concerning your children's education. Get the information you need to identify school districts which meet your family's educational needs and goals.

National Grid gas and electric service -- Make Your Move Easier with nationalgrid.com When you need to arrange for electric or natural gas service—whether turning your National Grid service on or off—remember niagaramohawk.com. To get started, visit Starting/Stopping Service on nationalgrid.com. From there, complete your electronic form for online processing. If you're stopping your electric or natural gas service, you will be directed to log on to our secured website area. Once you've submitted this request, we'll contact you to schedule a final meter reading and arrange your service disconnection and final billing. Submit your form at least five business days before you will need service.

Mold, Moisture, and Your Home -- You may have heard about the issue of how to deal with mold in residential structures. It is a big issue in some areas and one that the federal Environmental Protection Agency has researched. Here is a link to EPA's Guide, which provides information and guidance for homeowners and renters on how to clean up residential mold problems and how to prevent mold growth.
"Mold Remediation in Schools and Commercial Buildings" is also available at that site: http://www.epa.gov/iaq/molds/moldguide.html
